: I have been thinking the temps in my room INSIDE were harmful. The last week here in Ontario was record high temps and humidity...and Roxy was not happy. Although she eats like a pig, she finds the coolest spot and stays there until late afternoon. So I have bought a powerful fan and a mini fan for the room shes in and things are fine now. I think she would just melt outside no matter how much shade she has! hehehe

were i have spike in the shop..it used to get well over a houndred degrees. we had a box fan in the shop for like a day.then we put a swamp cooler in.it keeps the heat down alot.and since swamp coolers use water it send moisture throught the air.and spike get moisture from it.and i spray him with a mister once or twice a day.
