Well not to sound rude, but I was "pretty sure" my beloved last 5 ft. iguana was okay when his appetite decreased-- BUT he died of a low grade bacterial infection that seemed to attack many of his organs. He really barely showed any symptoms until he came down with a respiratory infection (by then it was too late and he died in my arms on the way to the vet)
I'm not saying that there is anything major wrong with your iguana, but I don't want you to make the same mistake I did either. I am more like iZ's mom now and very paranoid at small changes because they mask illness very well. A decrease in appetite may be the only sign you get.
Good luck to you but I would recommend getting a blood test done by a QUALIFIED herp vet-- the levels could point to where the problem lies. You should get one per year anyway. Also, taking a fresh stool sample in to the vet will determine if he has worms or parasites (cheap test too).
