My Ig has impeccable litter habits. He occasionally misses the target or wants to mark somewhere when he is upset for any reason.
But other than that, a shallow cat litter pan that is wide/long enough for it to fit it's torso in in quite suitable and quite remarkable. When you fill it with about a half inch-inch of water (depending on its size) chances are it will want to go there. My ig likes to go in first and splash around and take a drink, (I'm sure he wants to take a swim, but I don't have the space for that!) then he sits up and does his buisness.
If your ig isn't too keen on it right away try getting them used to it by placing them in it everyday when the water is nice and warm and I'm sure they'll poop. They might miss the target 8-9 times out of 10, but it saves you alot of cleanup!
