Thanxs Christy~ Right now i am stressing out because the vet hasn't called me yet???ARGGG! As for the phone i do not have to worry as we are staying in my husbands friends flat and will be able to use my phone card there easily~ I have a special rate for out of country calls so it won't even be that expensive~ I am just going mad waiting to hear back as he should have been out of surgery already!! : First my thoughts are with Rocko and I hope all goes well and he is back to his normal self when you return. Now being im in the US and barely traveled a few states away dont know if this happens in London or not. BUT if so here it goes. Get a couple of those prepaid phone cards so you dont have to worry about calling or charging up a huge phone bill at the hotel or wherever you are staying. Then you can call anytime you need for a reassurance, to bad they cant talk then rocko could tell you how hes feeling to help you feel better. Thoughts are with you both and try to relax a bit in London.

: : Well I just got back from the vets~ Without Rocko~ He is still there and will remain there until i get back from London~ It was really hard to leave him~:(~ But after talking to this vet for an hour i have confidence in him and he will be doing xrays today and calling me with the results~ than he said we would go from there~ After discussing his diet and habitat he started asking me if there was anything in his cage that he might have ingested~I told him there was a plastic plant in there~ and he thought that might just be it~? But also told me he see's alot of problems with parasites and they can bind him up too~ Also he noted that Rocko seemed gasey~ So he gave me an estimate of everything he may have to do~ which was the xray,fliuds,possible medications,hospital stay(extended as i will be out of country for 7 days)enema,blood work,fecal exam. So he seems like he knows what he is doing~ The estimate cost is 350 bucks~ which is probably a little low~(isn't it always?)~ Plus the hospital stay for a week was 120 bucks on its own~ He had a great setup for Rocko and brought me in and showed me were rocko would stay~ I hope i can relax and have a nice vacation now~ At least i know rocko is getting the care he needs right now~ I will let everyone know what the results for the xrays are~ He will be calling me in a few hours~ Thanks for listening~ I can't wait to have Rocko home again~ Its very hard to concentrate on work ~ Surprising how attached we get to these guys~ They are really a part of the family~
