Is it an iggy?????

Some lady came into the pet store today and had some questions about an "iguana" that her neighbor gave her and her son. She said it had blue spots, spikes, and it was about three feet long. I showed her some pictures of different lizards and she said it was an iguana. I really don't think it is. Shes bringing it on on Friday in a box so I can see if it's healthy and really is an iguana. Any suggestions to what I am in for?
