Yeah definitely stop using the packaged foods. Feed him/her a good variety of fresh foods. I give my girl collards always and mix up between mustard greens, turnip greens, parsley, dandelion greens, escarole, water cress, cilantro, (I pick about four of the leafy veggies a week and mix it up week to week) also a good occasional green is kale. For chopped veggies I give her stuff like zucchini, green beans, yellow wax beans, green and red bell peppers, okra. I also give her green onions and endive too. I get about 8 different veggies a week. Make sure you have good UV bulb for your baby too, I like to use the zoo med Iguana light 5.0. I would suggest reading the book Green Iguana the ultimate owners manual by James Hatfield it's a great book. Hope this helps.
