Thanks for the reply to my question. Your post was very informative. I have been looking into these bulbs for the past month and was still concerned about the amount of heat they produce, etc...And then the other day I saw Melissa Kaplan's page about why these bulbs are bad(she even has on her page the warning label that is on the ActiveUVHeat bulb package, and that really freaked me out.) I think I am really leaning towards getting one.
