That sounds familiar to how it works here :) I have two containers they go into. They prefer to stand on the hind legs (in the container), looking over the edge, lift the tail a bit and poop, taking deep breaths. Tran him in the tube with water, then place
a container in there also with water, then without water, then move the container out of the tube and place it where you want. If you practise this procedure over several weeks. He should then he should have great problem to poop anywhere else than in the
container. There seems to be many ways to potty train an iguana. I trained first Rex to 100% and then Lizzy took up the same procedure !.
