any 'new' iguana should be seen by a vet ASAP, but *especially* since you're questioning what the scarring could be from ~ have a qualified ig-vet examine the ig + be SURE, instead of trying to diagnosis on-line ... :) ... take a fresh poop sample with you + have it checked for worms and other parasites ~ VERY important to do! just about all igs DO have worms until they are treated + it will drastically affect the ig's health ...
