All males are different. I have one male who sees me as the perfect specimen of a female iguana. He tries to snag me with those little teeth at any opportunity. So far he has only gotten me once when I was in a rush and not being careful. I have another male who is in full swing breeding season and he will b'line for the nearest female ig even if she is twice his size and tries to kill him. With me tho he is a doll. I had another that was also a doll with people but he would go for the female igs...only when they swatted him away he would leave them alone. They are all so different and length of season varies too. They usually last for months...I had one guy in season for 4 months and he was only out of it 2 months before he went again! Most of the time I expect most of the summer to be breeding season but it can be winter too.

: Our first Ig is now 18 months and has been in season for about 3 weeks now. The luv sock didn't work for us because he is after me. Whatever shirt skirt or casual dress I wear I just take it off at the end of the day and let him have at it. So far no damage to any of clothing. I did read they go after colors like blue, purple and green. My Mr. Igums doesn't care what color I'm wearing as long as he gets my clothing at the end of day. I am hoping this will be over by the end of next week so I can have my sweet lil guy back again.
