I'm not an iggy owner, but come here for info. I have chinese water dragons instead. Muffin knows who I am...it obvious...she is extreamly leery of strangers and does not allow them to touch her, or come with in a few feet of her...she watches them constanly when they are in her room. If it's me in there, I am able to pick her up, handle her ( until she gets fussy ), and unless she's hungry or up to no good, she pretty much ignores me....so I am not perceived as a threat to her ( unless I catch her on the bed then she gives me what I call the " stranger stare "...lol ). I would call it bonding to an extent...but if water dragons can recongzine their owners, I'm sure iggys can!
