Well, I'm currently working up plans to build an outdoor enclosure about L12'xW5'xH8' for two (currently) 40" or so iguanas.

The reason I'm making it that big, is for 2 reasons

1) I've got the room
2) They need the room to grow into (remember they have the potential of reaching 6')

So, you may need to think about future expansion (although probably not for a long while yet), I just like to give my reptiles as much room as I can.

It's currently just soil, plants, etc in the space, which I'm going to totally dig out, and replace with fresh new top soil, with a wooden frame, buried about 2ft under the ground, at least on 3 sides - one side is the brick wall of the house, which I hopefully intend to cover with clinging English ivy (unless somebody has a reason why I should stear clear of ivy?).

One thing I was thinking about, as they're going to be outdoors, is maybe some kind of shallow pool for them - would this be a good idea? Or should I still bring them inside every day for a soak in the tub?
