If you really want an iguana, do A LOT of research before you decide anything. You will need to be prepared for a HUGE enclosure, or separate room (full grown 6 foot lizard), and a serious time and money commitment for food preparation, supplies, vet bills, etc. Coming here was a great start!

Also, if you do decide to get one, look at adopting an iguana in need of a home.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Fiji igs are EXTREMELY endangered, and not legal to have. Shame really, because they are beautiful.
Here's a picture of one of mine. This is Theseus. 3 years old, 15.5" SVL (nose to bum), and 55" total length. (He's still got some growing to do yet, not done by any means)
