in the sun things cook. In the shade and or some filtered sun things don't. In the tropics of where I've been and seeing wild iguanas they are not out in direct sun very often but in some indirect or filtered sun. The areas are very humid and sticky but not usually in the 100 degree marks. Also the temps did fall within the lower 70ties and high 60ties and the iguanas were fine . True on juveniles in that they were not as common seen in the upper heat ranges in trees but stayed lower to the ground or shorter shrubs and greenries.

: Recently in my state we have had heat indexes of 110 and so on. The evening hours it is a *cool* 80. I am wondering if these temps are too much for igs? I hate to keep them in air conditiong, when they can get the real sun.
