Well I have the same problem with my Floyd as his cage is outside and I bring him in to sleep at night~ Our temps vary as well. This week its been 85 to 90 in the day and 50's at night~ So he defenitly has to come in at night(unless i supply him with heat out there) The usual temps for this time of year though are over 100 in the day and a bit warmer at night~ maybe 65~ This is what I am planning to do if the temps rise to high~ For one i have a towel over part of the screen on top that i wet down at noon and in the evening~ also i spray him down as well. He does have a big pool at the bottom of his cage. Plus his cage has wheels~ So i can push (with some help its heavy) him a bit more or all the way under the redwood tree's. Right now he gets the morning sun and then as the sun goes up the tree's gradually give him more shade. So far this seems to be working great! I also have a special thermometer in there that lets me know just how hot its getting in his cage everyday~ That helps me to determine how hot its getting when i am not at home so i can adjust his cage if i need too~

: Recently in my state we have had heat indexes of 110 and so on. The evening hours it is a *cool* 80. I am wondering if these temps are too much for igs? I hate to keep them in air conditiong, when they can get the real sun.
