The baby has taken quite well to the 20 gallon aquarium I set up for it last night. I went home for lunch to feed both ig's and found the baby basking on his drift wood. When I opened the top he jumped and hid...usually he would just lay still and not move. I pinched up some mustard greens then went to get the collards from the fridge. When I got back he had already moved 1/2 way back up the drift wood so he's moving around a bit. I finished feeding and placed the top back on the cage. He then moved back to the top of the drift wood for a few then hauled butt down the wood and went straight for his food. He was happily munching away when I left. I noticed all the wrinkles in his sides and tail base are gone and I didn't see him shut his eyes once while I was home. While on top of the drift wood he seemed to be curiously looking around all over. He seems to be doing much better, hopefully he will start growing soon. At 3" SVL he's hard to find even in a 20 gallon aquarium...lol.
