I had the same problem when i brought home Miya the mean~ He was not kept with enough humidity~ As long as they are not missing altogether they should heal up with each new shed> I misted Miya lots and gave him baths and made sure when he shedded that all the spikes shed. Its been close to 7 months since I brought him home and his spikes are looking much better~ But the broken ones take longer~ So it looks like it will take another several months for them to be totally right~ I think Aloe vera sounds like a good idea!~ It defenitly wouldn't hurt~ good luck~
: my gorgous iguana that i rescued about 6 months ago has cracked and broken spikes there not too bad but i was wondering if they will regenerate or get any better looking hes about 4 feet and growin
