For the first day he was in his new home I tried feeding him on the bottom for exercise purposes. He never came down so the next day I started feeding him at the top at the other end of the shelf he basks on. His eating amount sky rocketed so I've been feeding him there. I've thought about feeding at the bottom again but I'm afraid he will slow down on his eating, w/ him being in the quickly growing stages I want him to eat as much as possible.
His cage is left open so he can come and go as he pleases but if he wont ever come down off his basking shelf how will he ever become a free roamer...I also think his life must be pretty boring to just sit up there all day...it's not like he has a TV or anything and plastic leaves can't be that interesting. ;)
: the enclosure isn't too cool, it's just that igs feel more sucure when they're up high. my ig (roach) is never on the bottom of his enclosure.
: where do you feed him?
