like Richard said, they don't ever *stop* growing ~ they just slow down from the tremendous growth rate they have when they're young ... and once their growth in length slows down a bit, they start to "bulk up" alot more ... iZ has only gotten about 6" *longer* in the last 2 yrs, but he's put on ALOT of weight and muscle mass in his chest, arms, legs, tail ... (can you tell i'm glowing with pride here?? *grin*) ...

as far as how often does an adult shed???
hmmmmmmmm ... i'm sure that varies alot from ig to ig ... with iZ it's maybe every couple of months ... but he does it in pieces, it's not usually a 'full body' shed any more ... one time it'll be arms + legs ... next time face + dewlap ... body ... tail ... etc ...

at 9 months old, you're in for some pretty constant shedding for a while! *grin*
