I do agree about pet stores not knowing how to take care of ig's that's why I'd rather get a baby one from the petstore instead of one that's 2-3 months old. The younger they are the less amount of time they've spent eating the wrong foods and living in the wrong temps/environment.
How much did Samantha eat when you brought her home? Did she sleep any through out the day?

: Actually, the shipping process is quite brutel and I have heard one pet store owner say he has to order 4 iguanas to sell one. If he is lucky, he can sell two.
: Yes, igets are on their own and many will also die in their native country but I think we add the number of deaths greatly by shiping them to the US to be pets. And considering the average pet store doesn't have a clue as to how to care for them, there are alot of unnecessary deaths.
