Your iguana should have a lot more than 3 eggs. You should take her to see a herp vet. You should probably look into a better laying medium than moist sand. There are lots of good info sources with that info. Make sure this lay box is huge she needs to tunnel. Make sure it is warm. Make sure you remove the male from the cage. My iguana almost died because she was taking too long to lay her eggs. It cost me a small fortune to save her life--be prepared for the worst!

: We have a 7 year old iguana, who just has layed her first eggs, but only three of them. Do we have reasons to be concerned?
: She started laying the eggs about five hours ago, should things go faster?, or do they always do it in a slow paste? She has layed the eggs on different places every time, but never in the moist sand we provided for her. When we moved one of the eggs to the haching box it where turned around a bit, does the egg "die" from that?
