This is a new one on me. It is certainly possible to get Salmonella from your iguana. The easiest way, being failure to wash your hands before you eat. Very Similar to hepatitus. In fact, iguanas carry this in their gut so you come in contact with it cleaning out the cage or picking up a poopy iguana. Very Similar.
There are different kinds of hepatitus. Some may be easiest to catch sharing wine bottles on college campuses.
