Well until you find him another capable home (sounds like that is what you want to do) make sure he gets as much natural, unfiltered sunlight everyday as possible, calcium supplements on food, and feeding lots of collards, spagetti squash, dandelion greens are GREAT for iguanas as well. They have a great amount of calcium. And iguanas love them. If you think he will be with you longer than a couple days you shoudl buy a UVB light so he can have UVB exposure when not getting sunlight. A vet trip would be in order as well, A.S.A.P. !!! That is probably the most important thing if he has a good chance of recovery or at least survival. I included some links below:
