In Reply to: how many years til an iguana gets full size? posted by doug on July 02, 2001 at 20:23:12:
about 5-6 years old they become full size at about 6ft long (Haven't read about a single captive iguana reaching 7 ft. about 5.5 -6 feet is common)depending on health and diet. Easier to sell as young (your post confirms it!)fetching no more than $15 each I'd guess... good luck. Majority of rescues sell em for $25. The money is in the accessories! Cages, tanks, lamps, etc. Check out MK's website for iguana rescues in the event yer unable to unload some.
