Hey gang. Just a note to say that I am doing fine, and have a new computer in my home again. The sad part is we have no iguanas here :(
Fatty never came back nor was he returned to me. I miss him more than I have ever missed any cat or dog. It's amazing how attached we get to our greenies. I wonder if it is because we have to work 300 times harder to give them the good life they deserve. Or it could be those*ughhhh* plugs they leave us! Who knows?!
Little Louie excaped out of a new cage that I built him. I built it, that should tell you something :(
My savage cat played with him until he killed him one day while I was gone. Louie was a scared little baby to begin with and his death had to be horrible for him. I feel so awful about the way he left this cruel world.
After Louie's death and Fatty's excape out the screen window ( my son had opened the window in his room and I didn't shut his door while I had Fatty out)I have made the decision not to try and home another one. Apparently, my household is not a safe place to be.
I still long for another iguana. They are amazing creatures of God. I am due to visit Kirby (another rescue) next week. He lives with a friend that always needs my help with nail trimmings. Kirby still doesn't appreciate being held much, but he is hanging in there, trying to be patient with us humons! He loves his baths, hates the trip tho!
Now I have a wedding and a grandbaby to look forward too. Josh is marrying a great girl that is already a fixture in our family. She will be a wonderful mother to my grandchild. The wedding is in Sept and the baby is due in Feb. Whew!
Ben graduated high school last May. Whooooohooooo! Now, off to work he goes..... I am doing a great big happy dance over this one!!! He will start college next year.
We have a new Sheltie puppy named Jazz. He is mine, all mine.... Ben says!
But he will never be mine like Fatty was mine!
To the one's that have no clue who I am...HOWDY!
To the one's that know me...I miss you guys!! take care!!!!!!
