Has the wood been sealed with a polyurethane at all ? That would be the biggest question I have. If so, for occassional cleaning and general upkeep you can use a vinegar/water solution. Less toxic for igs and humans. But for heavy duty cleaning Samcin's right, a bleach solution is necessary for total disinfection. Just make sure that the enclosure is completely rinsed down and aired out before you put your ig back in.....
