I HIGHLY doubt it, yes not just dropping the food in, but hiding it making it a game of foreging for the food. You have the OPTION of eatting or not eatting preventing any animal food acess for a day is YES IN MY OPINION IS CRUEL. I dont deny acess to ANY of my aniamls food, Weither they eat it or not its there choice. Iguanas are not like dogs they cant bark there head off tillyou feed them, they cant bring there food bowl to you. And YES I FEEL its CRUEL this isnt the first off the wall/possible harmfull thing ISIS has posted about.
: Even zoos skip days when feeding adult iguanas, as with most other animals. It's a way to keep them from dropping into a routine and getting bored.
: I know I only eat 6 days a week, if even that, but that's another matter. You could hardly call this treatment cruelty.
