I have a wooden frame to my cage also, and I used to have pine chips (which i was told is a NO-NO), in which case I usually just took the dust pan and scooped up the chips when they were dirty, but now I just have newspapers, and Louie is now potty trained to poo in her cat-litter pan with water in it, so I only have to change the newspapers when her shed is everywhere or the paper gets yellow or crinkly from the humidity. TO really clean it when I move, I take the wet-dry vac and get all the shed, old chips, etc out of it. hope this helps!
: I was wondering what you guys do to clean your ig's enclosure. I have an enclosure made mostly out of wood and I don't know what is a good cleaning agent to use that won't harm the ig or stink up the cage. Any advice?
