I recently took a young iguana from a person who didn't want it anymore. He's 1.5 feet long. I hope to house him with the female i have now, who is about the same length due to part of her tail missing, but probably 3x the weight and very robust. I know the best way is to start putting her into his cage, but his cage is too small for her to fit into comfortably. When i put him into her cage, she didn't act aggressive towards him, just bobbed her head and followed him around the cage licking him. I thought maybe i had gotten lucky, but then she started to, almost gently, bite his back and tail. It almost looks like she likes him though, she doesn't have her fan out between bobbing sessions, and she moves very slowly towards him. Her only obvious anger i see is when i try to remove him from the cage. But I still moved him back to his cage, because i figured she will only get more aggressive. Is this aggressive behaviour she is showing? Would she eventually stop doing this under close monitering? If anyone has any similar experiences and advice they'd like to share, i love to hear it!
