most my igs food is always cut into small enough pieces for him to easily eat, but i still clip whole leaves to the wall so he can rip them apart. i also sometimes throw him the ends of the food hes getting, the part that connects the leaves to the base part, so he can rip the leftovers apart by himself. he seems to like it, and if nothing else, it keeps him busy for a while. its not like im keeping his food so hidden and hard to eat that hes going to starve. i dont think a bit of work is going to hurt him.
does anyone else offer their ig dry food? mine gets fresh greens every day, but he also has a small bowl of dry food just in case he gets hungry and eats everything.
