the ones at the store will totally chomp on crickets ( i also sometimes mix waxworms in with salad) of appropriate sizes. they go crazy for them. whenever i feed insects i dust them with a calcium/vd3 powder. i offer them insects once a week. on the other days they usually get a mixture of collard, dandelion (and flowers), mustard, and turnip greens. i also dust the greens a couple times a week.
