Thanks James and after I read your note I remembered what that area was called (cere). It's been a long time since we had keets....probably about 20 years. OH MY GOSH I suddenly feel soooo old LOL LOL But the last pair we had lived 9 years *grin*

xta (and James) I will explore this food thing. The food Sarah bought is a mix that the pet store lady does up and she has different mixes for the different birds she sells. I've known Marge for about 20 years now (why does that seem to be the magic number???) And have frequented her store over the years for everything from tropical fish, reptiles (doesn't sell now), birds and dog + other pet supplies. She's an extremely hands-on person and her birds are the healthiest I've seen. She sells parrots down to keets.

Anyway, I'll look into the other food site & talk it over with her to see how/if hers compares. And I bet if I go thru the "front door" of Kingsnake there will be a bird site so I don't have to aggravate the *ahem* reptile folks LOL LOL
