not only have i heard of it, but iZ HAS one (the kind with the ball bearing in the drinking spout) ~ and YES he occasionally uses it! :)

when he was SO sick a while back, it was VERY important for him to drink alot and he usually just didn't feel well enough to move off his bed-shelf ~ while trying to figure that one out, i ran across an extra water bottle that we'd had for the bunny + i wondered "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm ..."

so i put it up on the wall right next to his "bed" ... i rubbed his favorite fruit all over the spout so he'd turn his head + lick at it + figure it out ... *it works!* ... (he DID look a little surprised the 1st time!)

he doesn't use it "alot", but it's right there next to his head and every little bit helps! (kinda the ig-version of having a frdige right next to the sofa! LOL)

he also has a little heated "drinking pond" with a bubbler + in his room ...

Bon.

oh! and we should send that guy AND channel 6 a nice big bouquet of dandelions for being helpful AND accurate!!!! that's great to hear!!!! :)
