Hey, Isis....

Sorry to hear that your owner forgot all about you over the weekend! Doesn't she know that she should have no other life than to cater to your every whim? Seriosly, though... My Mom gets busy, too. She also has horses, goats, dog, cat, even a chameleon! Although she is pretty good at remembering that I am the most inmportant animal in her brood, sometimes she works late, does not feel well, or otherwise gets tied up and forgets that I am King! When she knows that she will be really busy on a certain day, though, she always makes sure that my water is clean before she leaves, and she leaves extra food, so she knows I will not be hungry. She has these little iguana food pellets that she leaves, because they do not go bad like my salad would. (If I ever left any, that is.) The pellets look kind of like cat food, but more colorful... She does not feed it to me all the time, because she thinks the salad that she spends HOURS mixing up every couple of months is better for me. The pellets at least make sure that there is something in my belly, though. As for your lights, tell your Mom that she could put them all on a timer. My mom did that because even when she was home, she would sometimes forget to turm off my lights until late. (And I get really cranky if I don't get my beauty sleep!) And I bet if she talked to her friends/parents/roomates, etc, she could find someone to look in on you if it will be ANY longer than 24 hrs. That's what my mommy does... I hope that helps!
