iZ has certain things that he expects to be in his salad at all times + woe is me if i ran out or worse yet, the stores in town are temporarily out ... makes for a VERY grouchy dragon ... *sigh*

fresh greens won't keep for very long in the fridge ~ if you've got a garden, i'd snap the blossoms off as soon as they appear and just harvest a day or so's worth all summer long ...

might look into freezing them, but then there's the question of whether or not DD will approve of the taste or not ...
