I've never had one slip off, ever, and I've used them on little igs, big igs, and the Cyclura...even used one on my Argentine Tegu with no problems. At the show last Sunday Azul was wearing one while he was basking on top of the dog crate that we set up on the table. I had the handle hooked to the crate. He decided to take a nose dive down the side of the crate and ended up suspended nose down by the leash. He wasn't hurt in any way.
