Thanks for your help....I must say, the pet shop we went to was actually no help to us at all...the person working in the reptile dept. said she'd just been put there, and didn't know anything about the lites...the only lite I saw that actually said UVB was one of those really long over the aquarium types...which I can't use right now. Cleo is fixin' to be too big for the aquarium she sleeps in real soon...and she is out on her perch by the window most of the day. (which is where her new lite,UVB or not, is keeping her warm)
They actually had a book at this place that had a big picture of the author of this "how to take care of your iguana" book feeding his pet a nice juicy mealworm....they recommended cat food and monkey chow, too! Good thing I came here first!!
Well, I wrote a book, sorry...glad Iz is all better!!
I bet he doesn't even know how great he has it at your house! (At least you'd never feed him mealworms!!)
