it takes *time* and ALOT OF PATIENCE for an ig that young to decide that yes, he CAN trust you ... new enclosures are also stressful, even when it's an improvement ... it's *nothing* that your iglet has "against you", it's that he's very small + he's scared ... in the wild, iglets are considered snack food for just about *everything* and it's gonna take some effort for him to overcome that instinct + trust you ...
it helps to have a set daily routine/schedule ... do the same things at the same time every day ... it'll help take some of the ig's wondering "what NEXT!?!" and take away *some* fear he has cuz he'll know what to expect + WHEN ...
lights on/off at the same time ... fresh food at the same time (which should be 3+ times a day when they're that small ~ as MUCH as he wants to eat!) ... etc ...
it might help to schedule time to spend just in the same room with him + talking to him *without* picking him up, just chat sessions to get to know each other ... *grin*
i know it's frustrating, + it takes ALOT of effort on a daily basis ~ it's WORTH every second tho!
good luck + keep us posted on your progess!
Bon. + iZ
