as far as i know, a "black light" is just a colored light bulb ... an unusual color, but still just a light bulb .... no special characteristics to it .... i really don't think it could have had anything to do with your igs problems .... if you think your ig is suffering loss of vision, you need to get to a reptile vet asap .... that's a pretty serious symptom and needs some medical attention!
