I agree that there is a very good chance that the roach had been sprayed. My green iguana has eaten bug before and they never made him sick. I know for a fact that my house has not been sprayed for the last two years. In a school they spray regularly. I would keep a close eye on your ig and if you have any more problems I would see about taking it to the vet. Bug Sprays are highly toxic. If you want to keep bugs out of the cage sprinkle some baking soda around the cage if this doesn't work try boric acid. Boric acid is not as safe as baking soda so you still must be careful but it will get rid of any problem you have without using highly toxic chemicals.
