tail tale continued ....

iZ is feeling pretty miserable.... he didn't move from his "bed" from noon yesterday when we got home from the vet until 7pm tonite ... it'd been 5 days since he pooped and i was getting worried about that cuz he was so bloated ... so poor baby dragon got to take a warm soak and at least that worked very quickly .... i felt so bad making him move but i was afraid he'd get so bloated that it'd affect his breathing ..... sigh .... i got some murderous looks from him but he really does seem to understand i'm trying to help ... then he got tucked back into bed right away .... he didn't seem impressed that he got room service directly to his bed AND extra oranges .... very early bedtime on top of sleeping all of today .... i know that's what he needs now .... to be still and rest ...
his tail still looks ok ... no swelling, discoloration or atrophy ... still seeping a bit of fluid, but it is still clear and only a tiny amount ... AND! he flicked the tip of his tail at me when i went in there! just barely ... but enough to keep me hoping it will heal ....
i feel so awful ... at least when my kid was hurt, i could hold him and comfort him, ya know? put a bandaid on it and give him tylenol and a kiss .... wish Bayer made ig-tylenol ...
sigh .........
well ..... thank you all for listening to me ... !
