I have what I think is a male iguana approx. 12-15 months old. I reluctantly put (temporarily) another male iguana about 2 yrs old in the same cage for the weekend for a friend. This male proceeded to head bob and other territorial behaviors and mine just sat there! My question is, did my iguana not head bob because it might be a female or do some males just avoid this behavior if they're scared???
P.S. I am 99% on my iguana being a male due to his femoral pores, spikes, and size of dewlap.
