Mary and I have some very good friends who used to live on Roatan, and we were fortunate enough to visit them in '98. They were aware of my interest in seeing igs in the wild, and arranged the visit to the preserve. It was a real treat to see these igs, and be able to photograph them.

Our friends live in the states now, but are considering a move to Nicaragua. They really like Central America. If they move, I'll be in a position to get pix of igs in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. At any rate, they intend to travel there in the future, and we will try to accompany them...
