Leashes (on cycluras)

I'd like to hear anyone's experiences on using leashes with their cyclura igs. Have you found that using htem in front of hte back legs works better than the front leg harness thing? I haven't tried using leashes yet b/c my cyclura aren't tame enough to remain calm in natural sunlight.
