Hello all,
I have a wierd question to ask. I have had my iguana since febuary. She is now about 31" long, and growing rather nicely. Just to cover all basis, she gets a great diet, has the UVA, UVB lighting, her temperature is great, but she has a wierd habit. Every once in a while, she lifts one of her front hands up, almost like she is burning her hand. She will lift it about an inch off the ground, and just hold it there, and look at it.
I know you are all probably thinking she is on a hot rock, but she ISN'!. She does this when she is on her basking log (temp 95 degrees), when she is sitting on the couch with me, walking around on the carpet. There is nothing physically wrong with her arm. It sheds great, no digits missing, and great color.
Does anyone else's iguana do this? Is this a normal habit?
Thanks,
Ron
