There is nothing set in stone on this question. Some go every day and this is probably the best thing to happen but some don't. The amount and type of fruit and moisture also has a bearing. Heat, light, and activity level also have an influence. The digestive and immune systems start to shut down at temps below 85F. I have 3 ranging from 4-8yr old. They go daily during the months that they have lots of sunlight. During the winter it is usually between 4-7 days. I never let them go beyond that. At that point it is time for the soak till you poop bath. I guess you are aware that the UVB does not penatrate glass. It sounds like you are on the right track with the diet. Cooked veges are fine as long as there is not any seasoning added. But the nutritional value of raw food is higher. I use a small amount of frozen mixed veges as part of their diet but everything else is raw. I hope I helped a little. Good Luck and Happy Herping, Iguana03
