They live in the wild in Southern Florida already from people releasing them. If you're in southern Florida you should be fine most of the year. If you're in Northern Florida you will most likely need to bring your iguana in when it's late fall.
Be careful about over heating your iguana. They need plenty of shade and I would recommend at least 80% shade from 10 am on. Iguanas can over heat fast in direct sunlight so be careful.
