Our iguanas get up between 5:30 am and 6:00 am and go to bed at around 6:00 pm. We try to keep the amount of time at 12/12 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night during late fall to mid spring. Summer hours are around 14 hours daylight and 10 night time.
Some of ours use pillows and others use towels. Harry uses a towel but at times he will use his branch instead and at other times.....the silly guy will use his water dish.....he'll actually lay in his water and go to sleep! We usually will lift him out of it and put him back on his shelf when he does this. Momma is worried he wouldn't wake up if he went under the water when he's sleeping!! LOL...I'm just worried he'd look too much like a raisin when he woke up!
