: : I just bought a baby blue iguana. Hes the coolest pet ever. I know alot about care for him but he is growing. I am having trouble finding a new habitat for him. Just wondering if maybe someone could tell where I could get a good tank or cage for him. Thanx
: Well, I highly suggest buying or building the cage that will house him when he's an adult. I am building a 6'h x 4'w x 2'd enclosure for my little guy. Just went to Home Depot and bought myself some plywood and some other stuff.
: Bean Farm and Zoo Med also offer iguana cages, but personally I think they are too small. You can find them at http://wwww.herp.com.
: Me and you are in the same situation,I am the owner of two juvenile green iguanas and I want a cage that will last for a few years.Big Apple Herpetological carries a 4'h x 3'w x 2'd cage with two door openings, adjustable basking ledges, and a hood for mounting fluorescent tubes, and the whole units on casters at http://www.bigappleherp.com.
