trying again

Everyone here has been great and supportive. Just thought that I would let you know were ready to get another iguana. We have rebuilt the top of the cage. This time the cage is designed to keep the iggie in and bad animals out. We have cleaned the cage throughly and boiled all branches and rocks.

The cats were still trying to get into that room, until we filled a spray bottle with water. Everytime they are even sitting at the door or get into the room they get sprayed with water. It has worked great. They have decided there is a lot of other rooms to prowl in and that one is not that fasinating.

I will always remember Merlin. He was only with us a short time, but he sure wiggled his way into my heart. One of my regrets is that I didn't get a picture of him. There are a lot of mistakes that our family won't make with this new addition. I'll let everyone know when we get the new little ig.
